Gov Okorocha brings up a strategy: To pay N1m for information on crimes in Imo State

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, on Thursday said he would pay the sum of N1 million to anybody who provides security agencies with information regarding criminal hideouts, as well as the arrest of kidnappers and armed robbers in the state. If you return pistols, you will receive N50, 000 and if you return AK 47 rifle, you will be paid N200, 000.

Remember in my last post I asked the question: Is there a way out to trap these kidnappers before such ransom are given to them? On http://xpressurselfshow.blogspot.com/2012/04/kidnapped-access-bank-manager-released.html

Could this be one of the solutions, what do you think?

The governor announced this at a stakeholders' forum, saying the move will combat the increasing crime wave in the state.
Okorocha, who said his administration was embarrassed by the security situation in the state, also announced that anybody who returns illegal firearms to security agencies will be rewarded.

Hon. Bejamin Njemanze statement "Most people in jail wouldn't have become involved in crime if they had reasonable means of livelihood" three big ogbosi! ogbosi! ogbosi! to you (hon.Njemanze)My sentiment exactly....or my peeps don't you agree?
