A load of 18-seater bus carrying students of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State on Tuesday somersaulted several times on Kobape road, along Abeokuta/Sagamu Expressway in Obafemi Owode local Governmentarea of Ogun state, leaving three of them critically injured while others sustained various degree of injuries.The students were on their way to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, in continuation of their peaceful protest against the recent scrapping of their university by the state government when the front tyre of one of their buses suddenly burst and veered off the road thereby somersaulting severally.
Also almost at the same time, Tragedy struck at the Aripako compound Oke-Sokori,in Abeokuta as one of the sons of the family, Nureni Makinde 30, was killed by a petrol tanker.
