The 40-year-old, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, Jr.,
believes that he is Bob Marley reincarnated and is embracing reggae instead of
the culture of guns he once rapped about.
Snoop Dogg says he was “born again” during a visit to Jamaica in January, and now changing his name to Snoop Lion and is ready to make music that his “kids and grandparents can listen to.”
He was also given the Ethiopian name Berhane, meaning ‘light of the world.’
