Mary was told she could die but refused to give up

A drug Called Quinoric, it was recommended to the mother-of-two  Mary Holder, even though medics knew it could cause the painful skin condition Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) to treat lupus……

(Lupus erithematosus is a name given to a collection of autoimmune disease , in which the human  immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal, healthy tissue. Symptoms of these diseases can affect many different body systems, including joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, heart and lungs)
She lost 98 per cent of her skin and almost died when her body burst into blisters and burns after she took medication to treat lupus. Placed in isolation and warned by doctors to say her final goodbyes to her family.

According to Mary 'The consultant who prescribed the drug to me was shocked to see my condition. He told me, ‘Well Mary, you look like you have been dropped in a bath of acid’.
" Worst pain of my life I was told I could die but I refused to give up"

Her husband of 27years, watched her skin look 'like a snake' after extreme reaction to the drugs

No solicitor will go up against the big companies - she is alive yes but lost her job and had to move away from family, I'm one of them and miss having my big sister close by. She is an amazing lady and really has been to hell and back.
