In line with its Football Development and Football Tourism, the Lagos State government had announced a few months ago that the First Soccerex event in West Africa, will be hosted in Lagos and coincide with the Eko Football Festival. The Soccerex Seminar will end on the 30th of September with a Children’s event tagged, ‘Day of the Future Stars.’
The festival will see football and the entertainment industry will come together from September 27-30 to showcase football talent as well as the hospitality and tourism opportunities in Lagos state.
The LSFA has entered into a partnership with media company, Storm 360 to produce the Eko Football Festival. The Chief Executive of Storm Records, Obi Asika stated that the media and production company is fully in support of the initiative and will work towards bringing on board more stars and making announcements as the countdown to the event continues.
