The e-governance portal,
e-Citibiz is to be launched at a stakeholders’ forum in Lagos soon by
the Minister of Interior Abba Moro.
The portal which is a Public
Private Partnership (PPP) initiative between the Citizenship and Business
Department of the ministry and Anchor Dataware Solutions (ADS), an Information
Communication and Technology (ICT) solutions provider company.

This much was disclosed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ADS, Mr. Joel Adi while speaking with reporters at his office in Abuja.
Adi said, “The project will revolutionise the way government business is conducted, improve commerce and industry, create jobs and accelerate the economic development of the country.
“The portal will ensure an easy flow of data, integrate and automate the operations of the department and streamline its naturalisation, citizenship, marriage registry and expatriate quota management systems.”
“We are putting finishing touches to all installations for the success of the project and the actualisation of the government’s goals.”
