Fashola launches traffic radio 96.1 in Lagos


Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola today marked Dmocracy Day and his fifth year in office with an interactive state-wide live broadcast on the State Television Station, LTV.
He also launched a dedicated traffic radio, Traffic Radio 96.1FM  which is to give traffic reports on road situations to help commuters in their daily road use activities.

According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy Mr Aderemi Ibirogba, the new radio station will feature traffic report, weather information, auto-ville, auto maintenance/ spare, rail and air transport and general traffic information . It will also operate on 96.1 FM, will be on air from 5am to midnight daily.
The radio commences full operation today.

Very nice gesture :) erm! uncle Fash can you also reduce the toll gate fees especially for those who use this roads on daily basis..........eh!

Is that the solution to the problem, so if i know, how does that now help me, if there is traffic and i need to pick up my kids i shld wait till d traffic has eased out or what....mstchewwwwwwwwwwww
