Dreams can come true, you know you have to have hope& be strong. Some of us do belief this, but if you are one of those who think otherwise, hopefully this will help you change your mind ……
Apart from the keys to a brand new SUV and a cash prize of N 7.5 Million she also got more than she bargained for:

Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi has assured winner of the 2012 edition of Nigerian Idol, Mercy Chinwo of the state government’s support towards her education and music career.
Governor Amaechi was speaking when the Nigerian Idol winner paid him a courtesy visit at government house in Port Harcourt, on Wednesday.

Amaechi who described Mercy, an indigene of Rivers state as a good ambassador of the state, promised that the state government will ensure that she completes her tertiary education within or outside the country.
The governor said the scholarship was to ensure that she furthers her education and strengthen her music career and he advised her not to compromise her education, while also urging her not to be carried away by the euphoria of her recent success, but to focus on her future prospects.

In her remarks, the Nigerian Idol 2012 winner expressed her gratitude to the government and people of Rivers State for the support and encouragement she got during the competition.
According her, her success demonstrates that Rivers youths are imbued with huge talents and potentials. She called on youth of the state to shun violence and pursue their goals.

Be inspired!everyone has a niche of his or her own....all you need do is to search deeply within you to discover it...it might not necesarily be music but something else that will make you shine like this or even better.
