Gov Babatunde has finished building the first suspension bridge in Nigeria.

The 1.358km bridge, which will link Ikoyi (Alexander Street) to Lekki (Admiralty Way), cost about N29 billion to build and a toll will be collected to recoup the investment. The link bridge was built by Julius Berger.

No wonder the residents are grumbling over the N500 rumour fee each car the owners will be paying to drive through.
