GEJ Replaces Andrew Oweiye Azazi

President Jonathan has sacked the national security adviser and defence minister. Azazi has been replaced by Gambo Dasuki a retired Colonel with the Nigerian Army.

Azazi has recently come in for a lot of criticism over the unskilled manner in which he has handled the security situation in the country.
