LUTH on fire, Apin clinic and children emergence
clinic, patients were confirmed stuck in wards,this occurred late hours of yesterday.
LUTH ( Lagos State University Teaching
Hospital) Idi Araba, and that some of the patients were trapped inside the
wards..the goodnews is that the fire has been put out and the bad news is that
it burnt one of the building completely..
Thankfully there were no casualties
confirmed yet
The building that was razed down was the HIV Initiaitive APIN clinic.... (APIN is an outpatient clinic that specializes in treatment of people with HIV/AIDS. Lots of data and drugs for HIV positive patients have been destroyed.
