Commissioner of Police bans Okada Riders in Lagos
Do you think this measure taken will help fight crime within the state?
The Lagos State Government in collaboration with the Lagos State Police Command has decided to put a total ban on Okada to curb the down the high rate of crime within Ikeja axis namely: Oba Akran, Bank Anthony Way, Isaac John, Opebi Link Bridge, Adekunle Fajuyi Way, Acme Road, Alausa- Oregun, Simbiat Abiola Way and Kodeso Road with immediate effect.

They are nuisance to those driving,but for the pedestrians they are useful to them, with this ban now, its going to take it's toll on people considering the build up of traffic in general,in Lagos.
i will advice the okada rider to opt for the use of bicycle. i guess it is not on the ban list
the best they will do is to make it point of their duty(the road safety)make sure they dont ride rough just like the drivers cos banning them will nt help the handicapped ones
It cld be a blessing in disguise,bc Okada are menace to the society...they do not obey the rules and regulations of the society. More also its made people lazy, in my time we trek to short distance places but these days every little distance u finding people on okada.

Any way laying off okada riders not a big deal the question there is are ready to face the consequence? 1there will be a lot of armed robbery,picking pocket,outraging tins , kidnapping n to worse it all there will be also a Java nine delinq...uency so is not gonna be easy for us all I mean we all know how wicked it can be wen a baby is not yet to stop breast feed n selflessly stop the breast do u think d baby will survive it? So let not deceive ourselves here the commission man dat want to stp has he really tot the gravity? U can just deprive people the means of surviving just cos of selfish interest is not don dat at all com to think of it isn't it bata tins do rather dan okada riders if their is none I can initiate one like ful subsidy is a tin ride home abt please
