This just the beginning, by the time we halt the production of crude oil off shores for 24 hours. The strike is not affecting the production of crude oil. Infact the International airports have been re-opened today and airplanes are coming and going as we speak. Be informed, know your strengths as citizens. We have to hit them where it hurts. And that's @ the international market sector. Close the international airports, halt the production of crude oil off shore. Let the CNNs and BBCs focus on us for a whole day, and if the fuel price won't be reversed.

GEJ you heed to our advice who elected you, revert to N65 if you dont want the economy to cripple more than this.

Nigeria is broke and you guys are using grammer to confuse people, govt you say we are not broke for the benefit of the doubt, revert the fuel to N65 per litre, then reduce your expenditure on your personal needs with Nigerian's money and then you can remove the fuel subsidy, if you want us to beleive you.How hard can that be.

Vivien, this my first time reading your blog, well done.
You see, we cannot trust this government that is our grievance, why spend so much with our money on their personal needs.....Nigerians are angry, the NEPA building close to my home in Ibadan(Oyo) has been built set on fire by some protesters against the removal of fuel subsidy. It is day 4, just watch and see, the worst is going to happen all over Nigeria if this is not reverted to N65 per litre.

Nigeria is broke the govt is lying, was it not how they lied to us about the Nigerian Stock Exchange? even when the world was saying generally that the stock exchange over the world has crashed, they kept feeding us with fake shares that the stocks are arising and there profits here and here,we should keep investing. Will 3mths kill the economy? Sanusi lamido Sanusi has said that if they revert back to N65 per litre for 3mths which is what we asking will not cripple the economy so what stops them from doing that? This heard on TV this morning, which is what we the citizens are insisisting on. If they are honest then they should do so.

Vivien I was alerted on my BlackBerry two hrs ago with this message: Inside Aso Rock Villa...FG agrees to revert to N65 but Removal of fuel subsidy takes effect March 1st,2012 @ N120 per litre. NLC/TUC negotiate for N90 and should commence by April 1st,2012. Now on RECESS, resumes back in 15mins.

We do not need labour anymore to take us to the promised land. They've just been bribed this is from a real source.

What we are demanding is clear:
1. FGN should revert to N65 on PMS price
2.FGN should cut spending on Govt officials at all levels
3. FGN should adopt the 10 focal points on the Social Contract Charter
4. FGN should without fear or favour fight the endemic corruption ravaging our dear country.

If labour cannot be bold enough or transparent enough to advocate the 4 salient points, then NIGERIANS CANNOT TRUST LABOUR.
Is this true?pls I really want to know

Mr.Biki,if this rumour is true, that means Nigerians are gonners....it is a seller out, what then can you say about the innocent people that have died in the protest, properties that have been destroyed, everyone who stoos in the sun in the gathering....that will be the most disgusting news i've ever heard of my 46years of life.

Do these government have brain at all, Im an expecting mother with two kids, as it is i'm at home bc of my condition to resume after child birth,my husband"s take home salary is N56,000, i earn N18,000 but now that I am at home we depend on only his salary, so with this increase how do they expect people like us to live,if this is the case there is no difference between their regime and that of miliarty regime, i even think the military regime is better bc we all know that they rule by force.
I am very angry with this government, we dont even have power, we are using I pass my neighbour's generator to be able to listen to radios on our phones and get what is happening from social media like yours.what kind of suffer head is this naw
