Actress Laide Bakare May Go To Jail

This is how First Week;y Magazine is reporting it Nollywood popular actress, Laide Bakare and her estranged husband, Olumide Okunfulire. This is because US-based businessman has vowed to slug it out with the delectable actress over the paternity of the child she claimed to have bore for her new hubby, Tunde Oriowo.

The Ondo State-born dude has reportedly told his lawyers to institute a lawsuit against Laide. Olumighty, as Okunfulire is fondly called by friends, allegedly said that Laide will have to answer if truly she got court judgement, which dissolved their marriage before she got married to Oriowo, her new husband.
Olumide maintained that Laide’s new baby boy belongs to him, adding that she became pregnant in his house. He also claimed that the actress registered at the US hospital, where she eventually gave birth, with his name and Green Card.
With the way things are going, Laide might be charged for bigamy and if found guilty by the court, she risks jail term.

Industry sources told First Weekly that Okunfulire may drop charges against Laide if the actress realises her mistakes and beg for forgiveness.
“I can tell you that Olumide (Okunfulire) is only trying to shake Laide. He just wants to make life unbearable for her, Laide is aware of this, which is why she has not responded to the ‘noise’ Olumide has been making since the news of her child birth hit town,” a source informed us.

Meanwhile, those in the camp of Laide have disclosed that Tunde is the real father of the baby. They claimed that Laide and Tunde had been an item for sometime before they decided to solemnise the relationship with a secret wedding and that she was actually pregnant for him before then. Pictures were sent to us to back up the claim. The actress is still in the USA with her baby and new husband as at press time.

A MAN who was on his way to his pre-wedding introduction has died in an accident on the Benin-Auchi road in Edo State.

He was said to be heading from Iruekpan village to Uromi, headquarters of Esan North East Local Government Area.
Three other relatives-his grandmother, uncle and aunt- died in the accident, which occurred last week.
Sources said they were travelling in a Toyota Sienna , which had a head-on with a heavy duty truck conveying sawdust.

It took some time before the trapped bodies were removed from under the truck.

The Toyota Sienna was damaged beyond repair, as its engine and body flew in various directions when the collission occurred.

Nelson Mandela is still in a 'critical condition'

President Jacob Zuma and ANC Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa visited Mr Mandela in hospital earlier last week.

They were briefed by Mr Mandela's medical team and told that the 94-year-old's condition had 'become critical over the past 24 hours', but denied media reports that he had suffered a heart attack.

Mr Zuma said in a statement: 'The doctors are doing everything possible to get his condition to improve and are ensuring that Madiba is well-looked after and is comfortable. He is in good hands.

'The doctors also dismissed the media reports that Madiba suffered cardiac arrest. There is no truth at all in that report.'
Mandela, who became South Africa's first black president after the end of apartheid in 1994, was hospitalised on June 8 for what the government said was a recurring lung infection. Previous statements have indicated that Mr Mandela’s health is improving.

His state of health has been critical for four days now.

OJB Jezreel says "I have 8 to 10 weeks left to get the transplant done"

The music producer and artist needs N15million for a kidney transplant in India.

OJB Jezreel gave an interview to Encomium magazine yesterday Monday June 24th where he said he has about eight weeks left to get his operation done. Excerpts...

"When early diagnosis was done, it was just a case of renal failure. Right now, my two kidneys are gone. We are running dialysis at the moment. It started two years ago, but gradually depreciated. Most people tend to attribute kidney problem to drinking and smoking. I was told it doesn't have anything to do with that, because as much as I drink and smoke then, it was casual drinking. Maybe they offer you a bottle of drink and all that but not like I drink 15 bottles a day. I have a friend who has gone through this and he never drank or smoked.
"The whole process of the treatment from pre-process, transplanting process and post-transplanting will cost about $100, 000. In two years I have spent up to N5million which I have been trying to maintain myself. That is why it has been kept secret."
"God willing, I have like eight to ten weeks more to get the transplant done. It's strange, I still walk around a little. I can't eat much though. I trust God and Nigerians for their financial support"

Cheat deserves a second chance - Jada Pinkett Smith

Here is what she wrote on her facebook page
This is a very personal choice, and there is no right or wrong answer. If your partner is remorseful and is willing to work it out, I would suggest trying to look at it from this vantage point. My observation has been that when most people cheat, they are trying to solve a problem. They are usually in some kind of emotional trouble or confusion that they believed the cheating would relieve. What's interesting is that most of the time the cheating has nothing to do with YOU.

Now the question becomes, are you willing to put all ego aside and reach for some deep compassion to try to figure out what the trouble is, and, as partners, try to solve it? Know this, if someone has cheated on you who truly loves you, they have hurt themselves as much as they have hurt you. This makes for a great opportunity to deepen the relationship with thorough honesty, which creates deeper respect with some serious setting of boundaries. This is also when love gets real and true and illuminates what you are made of as a couple and as individuals. Situations like these could be the windows to a deeper commitment OR... to two separate paths on the way to look for new partners. Only the unique nature of your specific relationship can be the telling factor.
