Student forced out of the library by the police for “Obsessive studying

Police were called to remove a student from school – because he wouldn't stop revising.

School bosses dialled 999 after 18-year-old A-level student Jamie Gagliardi refused to leave the premises.

He had arrived at the school early to prepare for an upcoming psychology exam.

However, when teachers asked him to leave, Jamie – who has been predicted straight As – refused to budge from his books.

The cops were called and the teen was escorted off the premises. His mum later came to pick him up.

Unhappy Jamie said: "I've been punished for wanting to do well. I am a hard-working, dedicated student

"the college has overreacted in what is probably the most important week of my school life." The swot went on to explain that he was given a one-day ban from the premises last Wednesday for interrupting the headteacher during a meeting.

This meant he was not allowed in the next day, but Jamie claimed he had "nowhere else to revise" as he does not have a computer at home. Bosses at the school, rated good by Ofsted in February, said the student was "obsessed" with after-school tuition and they had to call the authorities because he was causing a nuisance by refusing to leave the grounds.

Marilyn Evans, director of administration at Ifield Community College in Crawley, West Sussex, said Jamie was very bright, but added: "He was causing a nuisance and a disturbance. "He became irritated that he couldn't have after-school revision, which he seems to be obsessed with.

"He probably feels that without extra sessions he won't get the grades he wants, but he will. He is a top student." Police said Jamie will not face charges.

Be Inspired! "I was told I wouldn't live past 30 but now i am 42"-t boz

Tionne Watkins  who we all know as T-boz, a member of the music group TLC.
She was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia. Reality came knocking at her door again, this time she was diagnosed with brain tumor, which left her partially blind and deaf. But she was able to fight back for everything she wanted after loosing sight, hearing, balance and speech.

"I was told I would't live past 30, I would be disabled my whole life, and I will never be a mother, but, my daughter is Chase, she is 12 . I have travelled the world in one of the best groups ever and I am 42".
When a doctor told her that her headaches were caused by a tumour, she triggered a string of emotion but not anger.

"I had that fight because I wanted to live. I didn't have time to die". The hardest time was not knowing if the tumour was cancerous or if it will kill , she said. She began a desperate search for doctors she trusted and didn't see her as a dollar sign.

"So I said to my face first, because you couldn't look at me and tell me I am deaf or blind. My hearing second because I still want to sing and have my speech. They took my balance completely from the right". After three years of physical therapy to teach her brain how to compensate for the loss of balance, she can see, speak and hear.

Predictions of her lifespan are still pessimistic but her optimism rejects them. "Now they are saying 45, but I will rather take over the disease than let it take over me".

There was never marriage between Nkiru Sylvanus & I- Presidential aide

The rumour that Nkiru has married the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Umar Sani, as second wife just a week after she was released by kidnappers is said to be false and that he also paid the N8million ransom money.

According to report here is what Mallam Umar Sani had to say about the allegation

“The report is very funny. How can you marry somebody you have not seen for over three months? The last time I saw her was in September so how can a marriage take place when the subject matters have not seen each other? I have not married Nkiru Sylvanus and if a wedding of such took place, people should be able to name the place, date and time. It is not true”.
