Joseph Kony is accused for kidnapping boys to serve as child soldiers and girls to act as sex slaves.

Thomas Lubanga and Joseph Kony  of the Lord's Resistance Army are accused of leading jungle militias that turned African children into killers. Children are being kidnapped; boys to serve as child soldiers and girls to act as sex slaves.

Lubanga has pleaded innocent to charges of using child soldiers to fight in eastern Congo in 2002-2003, while Kony is accused by activists of using children to murder and mutilate his enemies on a far larger scale across four African nations. Kony is yet to be captured.

This happened early hours of the morning at Finbarr’s Catholic Church, Rayfielf, Jos, plateau state.  A bomb attack right inside the church premises, four were confirmed dead and 42 injured.

We are aware that the government is doing all they can to beef up the security in most of the northern states  but while this is still taking place what suggestions do you have for the Christians who are being attacked in the middle of worship? Should Southerners and Northerner go their separate ways?……….Haba! This killing is too much naw!

Armed Robbers attack commercial bus in Kogi, Rape 18 single and married women passengers

Eighteen women aboard a commuter luxury bus were reportedly raped in the wee hours of Thursday armed bandits few kilometres from Okene, Kogi State. The victims, comprising single and married women, were among passengers in the ill-fated bus with a Lagos registration number XM753 AKD, operated by a popular transport company (name withheld by us), which was travelling from Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, to Abuja, when the incident occurred at about 2.am.

One of the victims, who narrated the episode to said the journey had been smooth from Port Harcourt till a short distance from Okene, when they ran into an ambush laid by the robbers.

“I was asleep when suddenly, I heard the sound of gunshots. The robbers shot at the driver’s side in a bid to force the vehicle to a halt. It was then I realised that they had barricaded the road with logs of wood. Then, they ordered all of us to disembark and marched us into the bush.

After dispossessing us of our money and other valuable items, then, they raped all the women in the bus, numbering about 18, one after the other. It was a traumatic experience which lasted for about three hours,”, one of the female victims who declined giving her name recounted.

It was indeed a pathetic scene as some of the female victims who could not conceal their pains wept profusely as they narrated their ordeal when the bus arrived its terminal at the Utako district of Abuja at about 10 am Thursday.

In November 14,2011, 22year old Grits was arrested for robbery with deadly weapon and t along side with a vegas hooker (Shantrice Wilkerson) and locked up at Nevada jail.
 
According to TMZ, Shantrice Wilkerson 26yrs picked up a man at Vagas club Luxor and him she wanted to have sex with him on a pile of money.
The man(Joseph Hall) not knowing that Wilkerson was a call girl invited her back to his place where he got $5,00 out of his safe to make it happen(ie sex on a pile of money)
Wilkerson asked to be paid for her service,Hall called it off and threw her out.
 
Three days later,Wilkerson returned to the apartment with Grits for revenge.
The police reported, Grits forced Hall’s roommate with a gun into the apartment and Wilkerson stole 2ipad, 2 laptops passports and any value thing she could find. 
Grits is being held without bail, till Monday to face a judge, for robbery with deadly weapon, first degree kidnapping and grand larceny.

Nigerian business tycoon Aliko Dangote has moved down 25 places on the Forbes list of billionaires for March 2012 claiming the 76th position from 51st he occupied last year.The downward movement was as a result of a $2.6 billion loss in his fortune from $13.8 billion in 2011 to $11.2 billion in 2012. He is however still the richest man in Nigeria and in Africa.

He is the chairperson of Dangote Group which spans food processing, cement manufacturing, and freight. Mr. Dangote is not the only Nigerian who stayed on the Forbes list.

The fortunes of telecoms billionaire, Mike Adenuga moved from $2 billion in 2011 to $4.3 billion as at March 2012, making him the second richest man in Nigeria.

Mr. Adenuga who was Forbes 597th richest man in 2011 moved up to 595 as at March this year.

Meanwhile Mexican business mogul, Carlos Slim once again topped the annual list of the world's richest billionaires.
The magazine estimates that Mr. Slim, whose business interests range from telecommunications to construction, is worth $69 billion.

He is followed by Microsoft founder, Bill Gates on $61 billion dollars and US investor Warren Buffett on $44 billion.

An Italian and a Briton Killed in Sokoto

Lamorinara and Mcmanus two Europeans who were kidnapped by Boko Haram in May 2011 were killed in Sokoto on Thursday during rescue operation by British and Nigerian Special Forces. These two victims were workers to an Italian construction firm- B Stabilini.

According to our sources “The terrorists holding the two hostages made very clear threats to take their lives, including in a video that was posted on the Internet.
“It strongly appears that the hostage-takers shot the hostages,”

Meet Carlos Halfy Rodriguez,who had a near fatal accident at the age of 14years, he was under the influence of alcohol and drug driving, unfortunately for he him he hit a pole and flew out the window and landed on his head. Doctors had to cut away large amounts of flesh and bone to help him live.

South Africa Apologizes Over Nigerian Deportations

PRETORIA, South Africa — South Africa has apologized for a mass deportation of Nigerians, saying officials at Johannesburg's main airport did not properly check their health certificates.
At a news conference in Pretoria Thursday, deputy foreign minister Ibrahim Ibrahim said: "We wish to humbly apologize to them, and we have."
Two diplomats from the Nigerian High Commission accompanied Ibrahim to the news conference, but refused to comment beyond a joint statement that described tit-for-tat deportations the two countries say should not affect their relations.
On March 2, South Africa deported 125 Nigerians who, according to airport health authorities, carried fraudulent yellow fever cards. Since then, authorities in Lagos have deported South Africans, raising health concerns.
