Victoria’s secret fashion runway event 2011, was held last week, at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City, ...CBS Television will air the show November 29,2011 (10-11PM EST). Because of the of the untimely passing of Kenya West mother (Donda) explaining the reason that he did not show for his scheduled performance of Victoria Secret’s runway show back in 2007 in Los Angeles. This time West broke into “Stronger”, a song that had the crowd happy to be there. Just when you thought it wasn’t possible, the crowd was elevated even more as Jay-Z joined West on stage and the crowd lost their minds.
Nicki Minaj performed “Super Bass” dressed in a colorful costume that was out of this world…literally and figuratively in true Minaj fashion. Adam Levine of Maroon 5 was the envy of most men (and some women I can imagine) as he walked the runway with girlfriend, Anne Vyalitsyna, one of Victoria’s Secret models, hand in hand singing “Moves Like Jagger.”
The show-stopping talent on stage may have had its moments, but stiff competition came from the nine year running collaboration between Victoria Secret and Swarovski Elements, as the “Passion Play Fan Wings” by Jenny Manik Mercian came down the runway. Adorned by Alessandra Ambrosio who had to actually train to carry the 20-plus pound set of wings that took over 5 months to make with approximately 105,000 Swarovski Elements and measured 6 feet wide.
