Organizers of Miss Tourism Nigeria organization 2016 announced the death of
Maureen Onu, Miss Tourism Ebonyi 2016. She was among the Miss Tourism Nigeria finalist which is set to take place in July, passed away after
a brief illness last week at the age of 20.

Tourism Nigeria Organization says
“the brand has lost a true and a great gem; Maureen was one of the brightest who was always prompt to carry out instructions/tasks giving and willing to learn; she was looking forward to representing her state with pride during this year’s finals and with the hopes of becoming the first ever national tourism queen from ebonyi state.”
