It all happened on the 12th of April, Nike Azeez who fled her home
with her children after she committed the crime, However her husband, Jamiu has
been arrested and is now at the Isheri police station.
This was the cause of her action, take a read.
Mrs Nike Azeez who is a landlady in the Ijegun community of Lagos state, has been accused of setting the home of one of her tenants, Adeleke Shakiru on fire just to remove him from her compound. The incident happened on Tuesday April 12th.
Nike and her husband, Jamiu, had asked Shakiru to stop using his generator in their compound, a directive that caused a friction between them after Shakiru refused to heed to their request, saying he needed to use his generator to charge his phones and provide his wife and his 2 year old son some comfort.
Things between Nike and Shakiru degenerated on Tuesday when Nike got to their room, poured petrol in their house and struck a match.
Shakiru's wife and their son were able to escape after sustaining some injuries. Shakiru says his wife called him while he was at work to say their landlady had poured petrol in their room and set it on fire. According to him, when he got home, he could only salvage a little of his properties.
