WHO stated yesterday that Nigeria is free of
Ebola virus disease .N 50 Million is set to be given to First Consultant
Medical Centre, Obalende, where the Index case,Mr Patrick Sawyer died .They
also lost their chief consultant, Dr. Adadevoh and nurse Justina.
As a compensation the state Government will be giving undisclosed amount to other Ebola causalities and survivors, to help them get back on their feet
Here is the statement made by the state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris at a joint media conference in Alausa, Ikeja
“Support to affected persons including those alive and N50 million lump sum as business support gesture to First Consultant Medical Centre.This is with view to getting people, businesses back on their feet and for businesses to re-secure patronage of their customers.”
