Yesterday former group managing director of Zenith Bank,
Godwin Emefiele assumed office as the new CBN Governor from the acting governor
Sarah Alade.
Godwin Emefiele has a Bachelor of
Science degree and an MBA in Finance both from the University of Nigeria,
Nsukka. He has over 26 years banking experience.
He was chosen by President Jonathan to replace Sanusi
