Wizkid, Gidi Traffic, Abdulkadir, Tonto Dike win at The Future Awards 2012

The winners of the 2012 Future Awards for young achievers was yesterday announced at a lavish ceremony at The Atrium, Port Harcourt.
Premium Times/234Next’ s Idris Akinbanjo took home the most-coveted prize of Young Person of the year, beating other strong contenders like Linda Ikeji, Don Jazzy and D’banj.
Citizens Platform’s Alkasim Abdulkadir won the award for Excellence in Service (Journalism).
In the Best Use of New Media category, Gidi Traffic, also nominated for the popular Shorty Awards sometime ago, won.

On-Air-Personality (Radio)- Tolu ‘Toolz’

Oniru On-Air-Personality (TV) - Denrele Edun

Musician of the Year - Wizkid

Actor of the Year - Tonto Dikeh

Producer of the Year (Music) -Jeremiah ‘J. Sleek’ Shelika
