The Inspector-General of Police
(IGP) Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar has ordered the immediate redeployment of 18
commissioners of police to various commands and formations across the
federation.
Spokesman of the police, CSP Frank Mba made this disclosure yesterday. He pointed out that the action was part of measures to strengthen security across the country.
Some of the redeployed officers include CP Godfrey E. Okeke – Adamawa, CP Adisa Baba Bolanta – Imo; CP SL. Gambo, Sokoto; CP Mbu Joseph Mbu, Oyo; CP Olufemi A. Adenaike, Kaduna among others.
