Falling in love with your natural hair part 2

August last year this beautiful hair of mine was mismanaged by a particular salon because I couldn’t get to my own salon I usually go to because I was shooting on one of my shows, I decided to go to a nearby salon to save time…..only for them to cut my hair while trying to loose  a weave on, the worst part the hairstylist didn’t tell me, I later discovered it when I got home, of course I was upset,……to cut the long story short, the owner of the salon apologized and offered me free hair do for 6months any style of my choice…..In all honesty, I was amazed  but I declined the offer, I had to cut the hair so short  but now it’s grown back …..Just in case you’ve given up on healthy hair you still have hope ……..you might want to follow these steps click here. But if you are naturally blessed like me my advice to you is maintain a particular hairstylist and use a particular product that best suits your hair type.

This is my real hair not weave on and these pictures were taken yesterday with my phone except the last pix. That was taken few weeks later.

The last picture, the hair was due for retouching..:)

Thk you its d best to be natural but i cant bc in my younger days i did all sort with my hair all in d experimenting and feeling like a chick as left my hair in a dmamged state beyound repair,I live in the states with my hubb and children, thkfully my daughters are ok,occasionally we visit Nigeria, you know here in d states d cost of going to d salon is alot of money so most times i wear wig and neglect my hair, i've sent you an email wit a picture of my hair please help, i know it sounds silly living in d states and cant find a particular product that works on my hair.I'll be in Nigeria with my kids for a mth i hope we see,thk you,Honestly seeing is believing,if I had seen ds in a magazine,i would think its indian weave on

  13. Please O! My wife's hair has mama iyabo at d in front her hair so embarrassing, though she has very long hair as ours but bc of the mama iyabo, she can’t carry her natural hair, she uses lace weave as a camouflage, how can she recover d front of her hair? I love her so very much, when we were dating, she used to wear her natural hair,& was one of her phsyical attibute that attracted me to her,I love feeling it not d fake weave on,she spends so much on hair because of this, I'm not complaining,I love my woman looking d best, we financially able but there is nothere like d real thing

    ReplyDelete
  14. My wife had to scrap off her hair before everything came back to normal, people like me that love long her for two whole yrs i was with my wife with skin cut, it wasn't funny, cos i was against it, i guess she knew better, now she's enjoying her long hair, maybe your wife shld adopt that,it might work

    ReplyDelete
  15. I hope she does, but knowing d woman I have i doubt that very much, she's on d dark side so might not want to totally look like a man for whole two yrs. Would suggest it to her, TA ACHALLA

    ReplyDelete
  16. Is glue a bad thing on my hair? cos I can’t do without my lace weave , I don’t have hair, there is no need deceive myself so I go on wigs and weave on

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wow! d hair is full

    ReplyDelete
  18. Just few women can pull ds off, they complain my natural dont look so good as weave on,every two weeks is either my girlfriend is wearing Caucasian,or Brazilian or Indian hair of remmy, as a guy she keeps bombarding me with ds fake hairs we have quarrelled abt ds, i'm not saying she shldnt wear them but for once let her carry natural hair, i wish she will see ds post, to know that people still carry their natural and still look beautiful

  19. Salons in Nigeria 98% are try and error, most people open up salon have no clue what having a salon is about, employ useless hairstylist that don’t know shhhh! Sheeee! Abt hair, some days back, a woman came from a salon to where I was making my hair her voice was so loud, d typical Yoruba woman who was angry 4 her friend’s salon she patronized for d first time she was opening,only4 her girl to cut her human hair attachment thinking it was ordinary expressions….d lady herself was so engrossed in her conversation with d owner of d salon, she only realized when her d girl had said madam” I don finish loosing d hair”…out of anger d woman came to nex t d salon where I was complaining bitterly, a bundle according to her cost N45,000 and she had 4 bundles on her hair.Mitcheewwwwwwwwwww! Only sorry was coming out her friends’s mouth, we cld all tell that d woman was controlling herself for not abusing her own friend, she only rained abuses on d girl who messed up d hair. There shld be schs training ds so called stylist

    ReplyDelete
  20. Nawo! Some salon shld close up &pack up ,just imagine they chopped ur hair off& did not apologize because you complained she now made effort,

    ReplyDelete
  21. For d fact that the woman was angry and noisy does not mean you shld say typical yoruba woman afterall you are yoruba, does that mean u too are noisy abidemi, if you are, i'm not&same goes with d rest of my family, we civilised people and we know how to control our anger

    ReplyDelete
  22. Lets call a spade a spade when we see one, she was noisy and everywhere was in chaos d moment she walked in , ds an elderly lady who you can tell has money and she's gone around d world, with her friends tripping into d salon even made it worse

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ok, we have heard, but in general women do not joke with their hair so if she was noisy its understandable,we men control our anger better

    ReplyDelete
  24. A salon that Offered 6mths free 4 damaging hair must have rich clients and she wouldn’t want to joke with them, so you don’t publicise her –vely d owner of d salon is smart, she has sized you up, if were to be ordinary person she will ONLY SAY SORRY

    ReplyDelete
  25. Please recommend me to your salon, it looks like they have magic touch.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Nothing like d real thing, very nice, I'm impressed

    ReplyDelete
  27. I envy your man, u won't only save cost, he will enjoy d feeling of ur hair,at least when uhe wakes up d hair is not tangling& looking unkept, no splits of hair all over d place,ur face is still d same, like some women I have dated in d past,u see them with hair, d next morning as im abt to say gd morning i'm looking @ another face cos she has pulled d wig she used in deceiving me

    ReplyDelete
  28. Vivien, tell them O, all ds women that wont date you bc they know I won't spend N200,000 on hair...another person's hair,I wonder how they feel wearing sb else's,i can see d confidence& pride u carry with natural hair. Women learn o! fall in love with ur natural hair

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lovely hair, outfit too

    ReplyDelete
