Are the men so few or is there an issue with the success?
So many young, successful and unmarried women in Naija, what is going on? Have your say.

Success usually takes time to achieve and mostly women don't have such time to spare before getting married that's why there are little or no women who get successful before marriage in Nigeria. Also, women hardly get satisfied with thier success level therefore it takes a while for thier "success" to be achived
i think most successful women do not like the idea of a man telling them what to do., they feel that most men will want to control how they use their money. i must say also that most women have self control when it's time to spend money more then men. but the truth is every woman needs a man, just have the right man.
If a successful woman finds it hard to get married, It's very unlikely that it's because of her success in life. It is more likely that her failure to get married is because of something else, like a behavioral problem.
Because of Life experiences like earning capacity, exposure, and circumstances women have gone thru have shapened their way of thinking. Also,Women have become more educated, which makes them to be more selective, since the men are at the level they have always been which is "the master of the universe" so they find it hard to come to terms in the same level with successful women. It takes a very confident man who is comfortable in his own skin to appreciate a powerful woman.
Such women are pompous, and we men cant't stand them, their character is zero and dont have respect for their partner especially when they earn more than the man. There is case in point with a very good friend of mine, they have been dating for 3yrs but the guy says he is looking for somebody else to marry.
Paul i cant beleive u r so narrow minded, how can u generalise all d women bc of one bad egg, pls, pls if u dont have somthing reasonable to say then dont. I earn more than my man, when we met he was an assistant to a one man business man& he was earning N50,000 every mth and i was a manager in a multinational company earning N350,000.We were honest with each on everything, but bc i believed in him that it is a matter of time he'll blossom,we dated for 2yrs and we got married, for d past 3yrs in d marriage i was supporting d family bc i earned more& we were happy, at no time did i disrespect him bc of finances, i was happy God has blessed us,he loved me so dearly, after our 2nd child, he got a better job which amounted to N800,000 excluding tax....so what are u blabbing abt Paul?
Came across ur blog by chance,we women are cable of doing anything in the name of love so, i thinkis the men that have complex, this was what a friend sent to my blackberry, and im not disputing bc its possible, this cld be true if nigerian woman finds a man of her dream
TRUE LOVE: A guy who has no job got married to a banker, despite his fears & advices that it's not good to marry without a job. Every month the girl will give the guy her full salary N135k after removing her N15k tithe. The guy will give the wife N20k for personal up keep & guy determines what happens to the remaining money, this thing happened for 3 good years. There was happiness in the family & the girl never refuse to do her primary home duty for that 3 years despite wrong advice from friends. That you can pay d bills & still be doing all the work. Thr was a particular month d guy used about N70k to travel from state to state for different interviews. The guy finally got a job with a gud firm in portharcourt his salary was N600k monthly for a start. He bought his first car (a brand new) for N4.5m, he gave d wife d car key. So he took public transport to work for about 2years b4 he bought the second car for N6 million. After he bought d second car he took d keys of the ist car & gave d wife the key of the second car. They were very very happy. They finally moved into thier personal house after some few years. 1 day, d wife was looking 4 some documents she now saw a file codedly hidden, when she opened d file she saw her wedding picture when she was very slim in d first page of d file. She finally saw dat d document to d purchase of d land & every oder things in d house contains her name only. At d last page was d guy's wedding picture nd a note written by d husband, '' MY WIFE IS ALL I HAVE GOT,NOT EVEN THIS HOUSE WORTH N24MILLION AT THE TIME I BUILT IT''. This couple got married in 1998. Last Sunday was their wedding anniversary with two children a boy & a girl. True LOVE still exists up till this day. Are you sure, the love you have for Him/Her can be compared to this one you just read.No matter what remember you choose each other so share...it doesn't matter who put the food on the table now.

I think it's because most nigerian men find successful women intimidating..

Well, all these so-called 'Society 9ja women' feel that bcos they r successful, they r too biggg to be submissive to a man i.e. get married.
All of the above are facts not asumptions. We 've sooo many examples & the list goes on & on...
No man 'll feel comfortable around such women which again goes to explain d reason y most of them r either divorcees or single matured women.
I rest my case!
