Abah and wife receives a miracle baby- After 23yrs trying to have a child

49 year old Mary, who is a lawyer and banker, shared her experience with Punch on the challenges of being married for so long without a child and the support she got from her husband.

 
"When they told me I was pregnant, I screamed and cried in the hospital and everyone present rose up and gave thanks to the Lord. Since then, the story has been one testimony after another. But that was not all, when I was to put to bed, I was told there might be complications as a result of all the operations I had done. They said that might make it a very difficult and dangerous birth. Yet, the Lord saw me through. It feels great and I thank the Lord for wiping away my tears and making me a mother at last. It is a dream I have had since I married at the age of 27. Now, I am more than 49 years old, it has taken a long time but the Lord has done it for me. I have shed a lot of tears. Our story is like that of Abraham and Sarah. I am already in menopause but I told God that if He did it for Sarah and gave her womb the strength to conceive, then He would give my womb the same strength. Even when doctors in London told me in 2011 that nothing could be done, I knew that it is only Him (the Lord) that could help me. I focussed on the Lord and He did it for me."

    "Not like how many, like how much.I have maybe $200,000 in wristwatches. What I am wearing now is a Rolex Daytona, I got it from Polo for Christmas. It cost about $30,000. Polo is Nigeria’s only authorised dealer, so I bought it from the company and I love it.

First thing first, for all the entertainers putting up pictures of their accessories on Instagram, can they please tweet the receipt from an authorised dealer. Trust me, I have seen too many celebs wear fake stuffs. You can tell that they don’t know what they are wearing. Of course, there are a few brand names like D’banj, Don Jazzy, P-Square or Wizkid that would not wear fake. I have seen them wear good watches. But there are some other people who I have seen wear funny looking pieces. There was one particular musician that I saw wearing a Rolex and the gold was fading. Rolex never uses gold plates, they use pure gold. If you see anything gold on a Rolex, it is pure gold. When I saw that, I was disappointed at the musician, especially because of the level of respect I had for the musician. There is no such thing like buying a Rolex with a credit card. You can’t buy a Rolex with a credit card; who are you? Diddy? For you to be able to walk away with a £20,000 watch, you would have a substantial amount of money in that card."

66year old woman losses $200,000 to Nigerian Scammer

According to on line report a Woman in San Francisco, California, USA has lost $ 200,000 to a Nigerian scammer through an online dating site – Christian Mingle Dating site. The 66 year old woman was led to believe that the Nigerian scammer was a British citizen stuck at sea on a Scottish oil rig.

The scammer was
With series of Investigations from the scammer’s Skype account and e-mail address to Nigeria, revealed that the man communicated with her all the time via phone and sms as well as sent her flowers.
During one of their conversation he asked her to loan him money to run a business, he created a fake website, where the woman was listed as an official of the company.
The divorcee wired  $200,000 from her retirement account to a Turkish bank as requested by the scammer. After she realized that she has been conned, she immediately notified authorities.
An associate of the scammer Wisdom Onokpite showed up at the Turkish Bank to withdraw the money, and was arrested immediately. Wisdom is said to have entered Turkey with a fake passport.
