the 100 highest-paid sports personalities over the past year.
Boxer Mayweather, currently
serving a three-month jail sentence for domestic assault, made $85m (£54.25m) -
a figure bolstered by promoting his own fights. Golfing legend Woods dropped to third having received $59.4m (£37.92m) with boxer Manny Pacquiao rising to second on earnings of $62m (£39.57m).
David Beckham is eighth on the list. He is the highest paid footballer with earnings of $46m (£29.36m).

According to report -Jenner not only told Kim to make a sex tape, but also to re-film the original because it wasn't 'pretty enough' and the tape Kim was leaked online in February 2007 - four years after it was made.
Kim initially sued Vivid Entertainment for ownership of the tape, but later settled for a reported $5million.

he was married before meeting Funke, is expecting a sixth child from one of his
wives, Fadeke.
According to a story published by a Lagos soft-sell magazine, E24-7, Fadeke was reported to be pregnant with her second child for Almaroof.
She was also reported to have been the woman saddled with the responsibility of taking care of the Almarrof’s other four children from his earlier romances with other women. This pregnancy is said to be the second from her marriage with Almaroof as she already has one for him.
Explaining where the first wife, Fadeke was during Funke Akindele’s controversial wedding to her hubby on May 26, 2012, the magazine reported that Fadeke was not in Nigeria at that time.

Wife kills her Mother-in-law with an axe
Reports state that Happiness allegedly attacked her 70 year old mother-in-law from behind with an axe. She then locked up her victim till her husband; Mr. Obioha got back home to find his mother’s body.
Happiness has since been arrested and at the Criminal Investigation Department detention cell of the state police command.
The suspect’s husband who confirmed the death added that his wife is a difficult person who doesn’t have a good relationship with her in-laws.

Italian Businessman in EFCC Custody Commits Suicide
Mauro Zanin, an Italian businessman who was in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on fraud related charges, allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday, a day before he was to appear in court.
Zanin a 52 year old Italian was alleged to have duped Gladwaters Nigeria Limited of $111,000 by reportedly selling a used ship to the company. However, after the company waited endlessly for the ship and discovered that the Bill of Laden issued by Zanin was fake, it reported the matter to the authorities.
The deceased was then arrested by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service on May 30, and handed over to the EFCC for further investigation.
A statement by the spokesperson of the EFCC Wilson Uwajaren, disclosed that Zanin was found motionless in the bathroom of the Commission’s detention facility in Abuja at about 4.50 am on June 19, 2012 and had reportedly committed suicide using his bed sheet.
Zanin had a five count charge against him by the EFCC and had secured June 20 as hearing date. According to the EFCC, the Italian Embassy was notified of Zanin’s arrest on May 31; and he was granted provisional bail the same day, but could not meet his bail conditions.
The remains of the suspect have been put in the mortuary awaiting an autopsy.
