New Wedding Venue -Funke Akindele
The
traditional wedding, which was billed to hold at All Season Plaza, Ikeja, Lagos
has now been moved to D'HAVEN off Oba Akinjobi G.R.A Ikeja, Lagos.
A message was sent to the invited guest some hours ago to notify them of the change.
"Good morning! Our wedding Venue has been changed to D'HAVEN off Oba Akinjobi G.R.A Ikeja,its beside Arch Bishop Vining Church. Time is 11am (Engagement) Reception (2pm). Date is still 26th of may 2012. Hope to see u there. Thank u so much. Funke Akindele and kehinde Oloye"

Former Minister of Labour Jailed For Burying $450M Stolen Money On His Farm
Mr Liato buried the 2.1 billion Kwacha in two steel trunks
under a thick layer of concrete slab in a highly fortified and electronically
fitted structure at his farm in Mumbwa..........Sounds weird right?
FORMER Labour and Social Security minister, Austin Liato, has been sentenced to two years imprisonment with hard labour over the K2.1 billion dug out at his farm in Mwembeshi.
Liato, who was facing a charge of possessing property suspected to be proceeds of crime, also had his K2.1 billion and the farm forfeited to the State.
Liato has been convicted of one count of being in possession of property suspected to have been proceeds of crime contrary to Section 71 (1) of the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act Number 19 of 2010 of the Laws of Zambia.

Ukraine parliament fight over Russian language ,sends people to the hospital...
This
was how it all went down yesterday in the
Ukrainian parliament,the fight
erupted in the Ukrainian Parliament on Thursday after a heated debate over
proposed legislation that would make Russian the second-official language in
parts of the country where Russian is the dominate language.
The fight pitted supporters of
the pro-Western opposition against current President Viktor Yanukovych's party.
The pro-Western opposition wants to see Ukraine rise and become independent of
Russian influences, while the pro-Yanukovych group has wide support in the
Russian speaking east.
"You're a corpse, you have two days left to live, we will crucify you on a birch tree," said Vadim Kolesnichenko, who stated members of the opposition threatened him, the Unian news service reported.

IK Osakioduwa ,BBA presenter loses mum
Popular Rhythm 93.7 FM, Lagos presenter and BigBrother Africa host, IK Osakioduwa has lost his mum, Mrs Felicia Oviawe.
IK (formerly known as 'Wild Child' on radio)
announced this yesterday via twitter.
The Edo State born BBA host tweeted, "‘I want to say a BIG thank you to all who
have called or sent messages to express their love and support since I lost my
mom this morning (Friday). God bless you guys.
"She was a truly phenomenal woman and as a family we have chosen to
celebrate her and be grateful for the time we had with her.
We ask that you keep us in your prayers. Especially in the days ahead. Once again, God bless you.
Thank you."
IK has been the host of BBA since inception.
He has also hosted Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) show for some years
now except this year's edition.
He was also the host of Bring Back the Book initiative by President Jonathan
held in Lagos in 2011 during his presidential campaign.
Late Mrs Felicia Oviawe she is really a mother indeed, I remember the first day we met at her daughter’s house the way she welcomed me and encouraged me, I was so touched, we will surely miss her.
May her soul rest in peace,Amen.
