Dame Patience Jonathan - 'I’m not ready to feed my husband in prison'

What a statement, I’m yet to understand really if this came out of the first lady of Nigeria Punch, duringa women’s wing rally in Ado Ekiti yesterday Monday March 16th, the first lady said she's not ready to feed her husband in prison as that was what APC will do if they get into power. Talking about APC, Mrs Jonathan said;
"What did they forget in Aso rock? If you vote PDP and Jonathan, it would be better for you. If you vote APC, you will go to prison. How can you jail somebody for 300 years? I’m not ready to carry food to my husband inside prison oh!”

"They said there is no Office of the First Lady. Already, we know that there is no Office of the First Lady but there is wife of the President. As (the) wife of the President, if you are good, people will love you. You will have a Non-Governmental Organisation through which you will touch people’s lives. That is why I brought Women for Change Initiative.” Mrs. Jonathan then described APC as a poison, saying, “If you drink APC, you will die.”

 the she accused the party of having to change name several times, "Since my father was born, they have been around changing from one name to another. Very soon they would answer Ebola. The name can’t change you; it is only performance that can change you. If you like change it 100 times. Nigerian women shine your eyes, don’t go for analogue, go for digital. PDP is digital, APC is analogue."

A cuddle from his mother brought him back to life

Miracle does happen my dear.....a simple cuddle brought back a premature baby back to life, born 2 minutes apart at just 26 weeks - had stopped breathing and had just moments to live. Thinking it was the only time they would have with the tiny boy they had already decided to name Jamie, his mother- Kate asked to be able to hold the lifeless child, and told David to climb into the hospital bed for a tender embrace.
Five years on,(from photo above Jamie and his sister having fun)Jamie Ogg  is a healthy

, happy kid whose biggest problem regarding his troubled entry in the world is having a little brother who tells anyone who'll listen that he used to be dead but now he's alive. After years of trying to fall pregnant, the Queensland couple were delighted to find out they were having twins - the 'pigeon pair' of a boy and girl.

 But just six months into the pregnancy they found themselves in the delivery room and facing premature births. Jamie was born first on March 25, 2010 and his sister Emily followed two minutes later. 'They were both born in their sac but Jamie didn't make a noise when they tore it open. Emily let out a big wail,' Ms Ogg told Daily Mail Australia. 'We looked over and everyone was crowding around Jamie - there was about 20 people in the room. The vibe wasn't very good.

Lekki Phase 1 Bank robbery on Thursday

It was a narrow escape for my friend when this robbery happened,she was just descending from Ikoyi bridge when loud guns invaded the air,it was sheer grace of God she escaped from being hurt.
FCMB was attacked by armed robbers on Thursday right on Lekki phase 1 Admiralty way killing 6people including a fish seller.That was her version of the attack

According to Vanguard 12 (or more) men dressed in military fatigue wielding AK47 automatic rifles brought terror to Lekki Phase 1 on Thursday March 12th. They robbed 1 (or 2) banks on Admiralty way and killed 6 (or 7) people. No person in the bank (s) were killed because they cooperated with the robbers. The robbers made away with money in the vaults and even broke the ATM and took all the money there.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Kayode Aderanti, weekend, said that the command had clue of who the robbers that stormed a second generation bank last Thursday, killing three policemen and a teenager, were, assuring that it would soon round them up.

 Investigation as gathered had begun by joint crack detectives from the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS and those from the newly instituted Tactical Operation Unit. The operatives as gathered would also spread their dragnet to neighbouring Benin Republic where the fleeing armed men were suspected to have taken refuge. Impeccable police sources hinted that part of the on going investigation included the monitoring of the video footage of the robbery operation recorded by an onlooker. Aderanti who was at the scene of the robbery incident, described the death of his men as unfortunate, adding that they (policemen ) were not even attached to the bank where the gunmen stormed but acted gallantly to prevent the hoodlums from carrying out their devilish act.

Also reacting to the development, Force Public Relations Officer, Ag. Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Ojukwu told Vanguard; ‘’It’s a terrible development. We will see to the end of it. We must get them. You should know that for a long time we have not had that kind of bank robbery in Lagos State. That is why the Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abbah, has given the command matching orders to re-strategise in order to ensure that it does not occur again.’’
