Faeces could be used to cure patients with diarrhoea

God help us in this life, see what Josbert Keller &researchers of the University of Amsterdam have found out.

Antibiotics typically only work in 15 to 26% of patients with C. Diff, and after repeated rounds of treatment, the drugs become less effective.
"The efficacy of antibiotic therapy decreases with subsequent recurrences, and it seems reasonable to initiate treatment with donor-faeces infusion after the second or third relapse," wrote researchers led by Josbert Keller of the University of Amsterdam.

Volunteers had a brief treatment with the antibiotic, combined with bowel lavage, followed by the infusion of 500 milliliters of diluted donor faeces through a tube that went into the nose, down the throat and into the small intestine.

Nigerians in Cape Town protest killing of Nigerian by Police

Members of the Nigerian community in Western Cape, South Africa, staged a protest in Cape Town on Friday over the allegedly killing a Nigerian by the South Africa police while in custody.

Mr Mojeed Biobaku, the Secretary of Nigeria Union, Western Cape, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Johannesburg that Mr Obinna Ugboaja was killed on 5 January, by the police over allegation of swallowing drugs after an arrest.

“Obinna on January 5, was arrested by the police on the allegation that he was in possession of drugs, the police claimed that he tried to swallow the drug when arrested. “The victim was forcefully put in the police vehicle and assaulted inside the police van and at the police station. Thirty minutes after his arrest Obinna died in police custody,’’ Biobaku said.

He said that members of the union went to the police station on hearing about the death of the victim. “When we heard about his death, as members of the Nigerian union we went to the police station to make inquiry but we were told that the case had already been reported to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate. “But the investigating officer handling the case told us to provide eye-witness. Many Nigerians who witnessed the incident came out but we were told that the autopsy of the victim to determine the cause of death was not yet conducted,’’ Biobaku said. He said the police prevented members of the deceased’s family from seeing his body while at the police station.

“We had engaged the services of a lawyer to represent us officially on this issue and to ensure we get justice at the end. We want an end to unnecessary assaults and attack on Nigerians by the South African police. “We want the perpetrators to be punished, we also want an independent autopsy to be conducted to determine the cause of Obinna’s death,’’ Biobaku said. Meanwhile, the Consul General at the Nigeria Embassy, Mr Okey Emuchay, told NAN that his office was aware of the incident. “We are aware of the incident, it is an unfortunate incident and this is not the first time that Nigerian citizens would be assaulted and killed by members the South African police.

“We are taking action as expected; we are going to inform Abuja about the incident. “We will do a formal letter and hand-deliver to the South African Commissioner and a copy will also be sent to the Western Cape Police Commissioner,’’ Emuchay said. He said the Nigerian Consulate would follow the incident and ensure that justice was done.

SEX Scandals In Akwa Ibom State Government House

MY STORY AS AKSG USHER - Comfort
I have decided to come out to the whole world with this story because I believe it can save the life of one innocent girl. If the ones in the group are beyond saving, at least, I hope that this confession can act as a warning to those innocent girls outside, who are constantly recruited into the Ushering group to meet the demand for more souls.

Parents must be watchful over their children and beware of sudden wealth by little girls who were sent to school, or God will hold them accountable for the fate that befalls their children. I joined the ushering group late last year, (2011) hoping to augment my income. The money was good, and since my benefactor had passed away, I saw it as a way to help relieve the burden on my mother. We were more than 40 girls or there-about at the time.

During that event, I made about N350, 000.00. I had never seen that kind of money in my life, I thought it was God-sent. We were later taken to the man’s house in Abak, called Arbark Cort and where given alcohol, and all manner of things. We danced and partied the whole night. From that day, my life changed. Then our group leader, named Rodar (not real name) started taking us to the man’s house located on Unit A, Ewet Housing Estate which is the centre for most of the atrocities. Initially, nothing happened. We just go there dance, the man will encourage us to get drunk, eat and by the next morning he pays us between N20,000 – N50,00 each.

From 12midnight, the house was always filled with women, young and middle aged; married and single. Then I would just go, but I noticed that most of the girls never left the house. The girls called themselves house-mate and the man Big Brother. The frequency of going to his house started increasing. He lavished expensive gifts on us, started sending us abroad, some girls would go to Ghana, others South Africa, some to Dubai and others to London. We lodged in the most expensive rooms of big hotels, Francis place, Le Meridien, when in Uyo and the most expensive hotels whenever we are going outside Uyo. In one of the hotels we lodged, I was surprised to see that one of the suit we stayed in cost over N250,000.00 per night. I thought I was in paradise.

We were given blackberry phones, Ipads, laptops, anything money could buy. All we had to do was just ask, then do as he wishes. Back in Uyo, things started changing. The frequency of going to his house started increasing, the money we made doubled. In fact, at a point, some girls where making more than N500,000.00 a weekend. Then the dancing changed. More girls were being constantly brought in. Most times, when we get to his house, we had to be naked, dancing and drinking naked. Imagine the site of so many girls naked, drunk and dancing. The money was tripled at this point. For the sake of the paper, I will not describe the gory details, but we started having sex with him, each of us and all of us every time, group sex and sexual orgies was everywhere.

There is no member of the group that does not participate at different degrees and I am not different. New girls were constantly brought in to join, even married women were part of the fun. Stories of Lesbianism started making the rounds in the group. The man will bring in lesbians from outside the state to entice us to practice it. He celebrates birthdays for each of the girls. In fact, the things that happened during the birthday celebration of one of the girls Comfort, (name real name) which took place in his house at Abak would make decent people to vomit. Some of the girls, to gain additional favours, would quarrel; fight each other in order to gain his attention. Money was never a problem; he constantly told us we could make more money if we behaved. We had so much money to spend. Some girls bought cars and others opened shops.

Then I lived like a real big girl. I could buy anything I wanted. It was during this time that a friend invited me to church. I am not really a church type, but I think God wanted to open my eyes. While in the church, the prophet came to me and asked me to see him after the service. I have never met this man before so I was curious. I went to see him the next day privately and when he saw me, he just stared at me for over 10 minutes without saying a word. I became uncomfortable and wanted to go out. Then he started speaking. The first thing he said was: “what does it profit a man if he gains the world but loses his soul?” He continued: “someone is taking your star and your future. You have been initiated into the occult kingdom and you need the grace of God to break from that bondage”. He told me things about the man that I had never imagined or taken note of. He described perfectly well the things I did while in the group.

He went as far as to tell me that because of our sacrifice, the man’s rank has been increased in the occult world. He even described the changes in furnishings in his house and the significance of each item. The prophet also exposed how sexual ritualism has become rampant now, especially for politicians. Here, they (politicians) sleep with as many women as possible, without using protection to facilitate the exchange of blood. Once they have slept with you, your future becomes tied to them and you can never succeed in anything without them. They take your star, they also take the stars of any person that you have a relationship with. I had always suspected that there was something wrong about what we did but I never thought I had been a willing sacrificial lamb.

Finally, he asked me to make a public confession of the things I have done, that God will forgive me. So that is why I’m sending this story. I want our young girls to be aware of this people. Most especially, I want parents to have the strength of character to resist easy money brought home by their young children who were sent to school so that they can properly advise them about the dangers.

Nigeria Reality TV show winner meets his father on stage 30 years after separation

Winner of the maiden edition of Destiny Child Gospel reality TV show, Israel Osunsanmi, now married, Israel will be 30 next month. Before he participated in the competition, he was the Head, Directorate of Media and Logistics, at TREM in Abuja.
Until the grand finale of the reality show, 30 year-old Israel has never had any contact with his father.
The man sent his mother packing while she was two months pregnant suddenly emerged to share in his joy.

Narrating his ordeal to Showtime, Israel, an OND Business Administration graduate of the Osun State Polytechnic, declared that he has since forgiven his father, even though his mother’s ordeal really affected his growing up. “I have forgiven him and the relationship is gradually picking up,” he said.

According to him, his ordeal started when his father impregnated his mother’s best friend a month before their wedding. His mother’s attempt to confront his father got her a knock on the head, as the latter consequently threw her with her two-months pregnancy out of his house in order to marry her friend. Israel disclosed that if not for God’s mercies, he wouldn’t have made it to this world as his mum attempted about 10 times to abort the pregnancy but without any success.

He narrates, “I will be 30 this month. I’m from a polygamous family, and I’m the only child of my mother. I took to gospel music because of my story. My life is a big story. My dad sent my mother packing when she was 2-months pregnant. That was when my struggles started in life. It was myself and my mum alone in the world. But I’m alive today.

That alone gave me the inspiration that it was God that kept me alive. And it is God, I must live without blemish, and if I do anything wrong, God is going to take away this life that he has given to me. That’s why I can’t do anything without God. And this is why many people today call me ‘ Church Boy’ because I’m always spending my time in the Church. There was a time, I wanted to go astray, when I was singing in clubs, and other hangouts, but God in his infinite mercies redirected my steps.” Narrating how he was able to reunite with his father. he disclosed that one of his father’s sisters made it possible. “We got hooked up on facebook early last year.

In the cause of our discussion, I invited her to the grand finale of the show. Fortunately, she decided to attend the event in the company of his father. She was trying to connect with the Osunsanmis online. She saw my telephone number and immediately gave me a call. That was how we started getting closer. When it was a week to the finals of the reality show, I invited her to represent my family. But she told me she was going to attend the event in the company of my father. I welcomed the idea. That was it.

The mistake I made was telling the producer that my dad was around and that, I was meeting him for the first time in my life. Overwhelmed by that news, the Producer invited him on stage and the reunion was a memorable experience.” Israel, who won N3 million star prize, including a brand new Hyundai car said, he would forever remain grateful to God for this turn around in his life. “My mother is based in Ilorin and could not make to the grand finale of the show,” he said.
