One of the tallest buildings in Dubai caught fire

Though the cause of the fire was not yet known,the Dubai Marina Torch, an 86-storey building which stands (1,105 ft), was engulfed by fire in the early hours of today forcing a mass evacuation. The fire reportedly started around the 52nd floor then moved to the lower parts of the building. Thousands of residents were evacuated from the highrise and it took more than a dozen fire trucks to extinguish the flames.

12th of February 18 Chisco buses were burnt to ashes by supporters of APC

"I was surprised last night when the owner of Chisco, the company that runs transport business between Lagos and the South East told me that 18 of his luxury buses were burnt down in Lagos by youths of a rival party because my billboard was close to his facility. According to report,the fire was said to have started after some hoodlums took advantage of a political campaign rally to throw substances suspected to be explosives into the premises of the transport company in apparent protest against President Jonathan’s poster on a building beside Chisco’s head office.

 A witness who identified himself as Stanley told Sun News last week; "It was when the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign train was passing during their political rally along Eko Bridge that some hoodlums supporting the party, took advantage of the rally to throw objects into the premises of the company when they saw President Jonathan’s billboard hung on the uncompleted building beside Chisco Head Office, thinking the premises belongs to the Federal Government.” The building belongs to the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), a Federal Government parastatal sharing a common fence with the leading transport company.

Buhari goes for medical check up?

Though on line we read Buhari trip abroad was more of meeting international committee to assure that when put in power his policies will favour international business, but  Ekiti state governor Ayo Fayose has something to say about it Buhari traveled out of Nigeria today:.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the secret trip made today, by the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd)  to the United Kingdom (UK) enroute United States of America (USA) for medical treatment has shown that the APC leaders, especially Senator Bola Tinubu were covering up his (Buhari) true health status for their selfish gains.

Buhari travelled to the UK today unannounced, fueling speculations that he was flown abroad in an air ambulance.

Though a statement later issued by the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation said that Buhari was on a short working visit to the UK, Governor Fayose, in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka said the party was not saying the truth.

The governor said; "The truth is that Buhari travelled out today to seek medicare in USA. "If the APC people are saying otherwise, let them publish the picture of Buhari boarding the plane and granting interview to Aviation Correspondents at the Abuja Airport. "While I am happy that the APC people that are packaging Buhari finally hearkened to my plea that they should allow him (Buhari) to seek medicare abroad, I must say that it was evil for the APC to have lied that Buhari travelled on a working visit. "These APC political merchants should say the truth and save Nigeria from the possibility of another Yar'Adua experience.

 "They should tell Nigerians that Buhari is actually sick and lack capacity to rule Nigeria and that they are only packaging him, hoping that he will become incapacitated if he becomes president so that they can take over power by proxy." While wishing Buhari speedy recovery, Governor Fayose said; "Like I have maintained, the north should wait till 2019 to produce a younger, energetic and healthy president of Nigeria."

Alfa Fatai and Suleiman became friends after they met inside a public transport where Suleiman paid for the transport fare of Alfa Fatai as a mark of respect. After that, the two became friends. "The two men met in a commercial bus. Suleiman had offered to pay the transport fare of Afobaje after the conductor was about embarrassing him because he had no change.
