Avian Influenza otherwise –Bird flu in Nigeria

The Ministry instructed all state Ministry of Agriculture and its agencies to be on the alert for any new case of the disease.

“All state Directors of Veterinary Services and the Federal Capital Territory, Poultry Association of Nigeria and other stakeholders have been informed and advised to be on alert with intensified bio-security measures to avert possible spread of the disease to other states. The World Organisation for Animal Health and Inter African Bureau for Animal Resource and development partners have been appropriately notified in compliance with our statutory international obligations.

Report from the Ministry of agriculture states that there is bird flu f- viral disease affiliated to birds only and is an infectious disease. Sadly its been seen in Lagos and Kaduna

According to eyewitness...the fire started around 4am in one of the tall buildings at Eko/Berlin Market, around CBN building. Shops and other buildings have been engulfed by fire.

 The fire service is trying their best to put it out. Millions of Naira lost in property,luckily no report of death.

19yr old Ecuadorian beauty queen dies from liposuction

Sad to see this ......it was one of the prizes given to her for winning the pageant.

Catherine medical student died on Saturday January 10th during a botched liposuction operation she got as a prize after she won a local beauty contest. She  won money and the cosmetic surgery procedure after beating 23 other girls to win Ecuador's Queen of Durán beauty contest in 2014.
