Pasuma Attacked By Armed Robbers

According to report,this happened at about 9pm on his way to a concert,A nine-man gang attacked music artiste, Wasiu Alabi, aka Pasuma, in Ahmadiyya end of Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway on Monday night.

The robbers snatched Pasuma’s Range Rover Sports Utility Vehicle with number plate Lagos, MUS 830AP, and dispossessed him of other valuables.

the singer, in company with a friend, was on his way to a show when he was attacked by the culprits.

It was learnt that some of the culprits forced their way into Pasuma’s vehicle and drove him around for over three hours before dumping him into a bush near Ota, Ogun State, and made away with the vehicle.

Newborn baby flushed in a toilet pipe by parents

A Chinese newborn baby was rescued by firefighters from a toilet pipe after being flushed down the toilet by his parents. The 2-day old baby was stuck in the sewage pipe directly beneath a toilet commode in a residential building in Jinhua in the wealthy coastal province of Zhejiang on Saturday afternoon, Chinese State TV reports

Firefighters received a call from residents of a block of flats saying they heard the sound of a baby crying and believed a baby was stuck in the pipe. When firefighters got there, they removed the pipe and took it to a nearby hospital, where doctors carefully cut around it to rescue the baby boy inside.

The baby, whose placenta was still attached, is believed to have been stuck in the pipe for hours. Unbelievably, he survived the ordeal. He is now in care and said to be in stable condition. The police are said to be looking for his parents

Lagos strip club collapses

On Sunday May 26, 2013 the building of a Lagos strip club, Ocean Blue collapsed.


The club, located on 14, Opebi Street lost half of its two-storey-ed structure when it collapsed. Eye witnesses say the incident which happened at around 1:20pm startled the neighbours.

An eye witness who talked to our reporter said, ’I was just on my way out when I suddenly noticed the building crumbling from the top. I really hope no one was injured or has died’.

Another witness, Nasiru Ahmed, who runs a provision kiosk confirmed to NET that no one was injured. ‘They are lucky that it happened in the afternoon, because if it was in the night when customers would have been around, it would have been very disastrous’, Ahmed said.

The reason for the collapse of the building is still not clear as the club security refused our reporter or anyone entry into the premises under the orders of the management.

From the looks of things the management of the club seem to want to conceal the misfortune as the strip club which is located in the carefully concealed premises was allegedly being run illegally.

A call through to the Ikeja Police Station, proved that the police is unaware of the incident.

PDP suspends Gov. Amaechi

The National Working Committee, NWC, of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, has suspended Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State.

In a communique issued at the end of an emergency meeting of the NWC on Monday and signed by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Mr Olisa Metuh said the decision was taken in furtherance of the determination of the leadership of the Party to enforce discipline at all levels within the Party.

Committee against His Excellency, Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the

The National Working Committee after preliminary hearing, in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 57 (3), 59 (3), 59 (5) and 29 (2.b), hereby suspends the Executive Governor of River State, Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as a member of the PDP and refers the matter to the appropriate disciplinary committee of the Party.


 This is in furtherance of the determination of the leadership of the Party to enforce discipline at all levels within the Party.

A bus preacher found with condoms falling out of his bible

A bus preacher was almost lynched on Saturday morning at Toyota Bus stop, in front of the popular Ladipo Spare parts market, when some condoms allegedly fell out of his bible as he preached the ‘Word of God’.

A source gathered that the self acclaimed Man of God was dragged out of the commercial bus and beaten into a pulp before he was rescued by some policemen.

The Pastor had embarked on his journey from Apapa and proceeded to preach to the people on the bus, using very strong words like “If you wear trouser you’ll go to hell! The Devil invented Make up! Weave-on is from Marine Kingdom! If you have pre-marital sex you will burn in hell and your skin will peel!”

It was learnt that the people in the bus were so moved and some started falling under the anointing.

According to an eye witness, Mr. John Mbakogu, who was on his way to his shop at Ladipo, “People were just falling as he was laying hands. One man almost fell out of the bus under the influence of the Spirit. It was amazing until he raised his hands to cast the demons out of one girl, and 2 Durex condoms fell out”

 “The angry men in the bus who had been having pangs of guilt due to the pastor’s preaching about sex suddenly got really angry and pounced on him, who all of a sudden started shouting, I also preach safe sex! Safe sex is good!” However, Policemen had to be called to the scene to save the pastors life.

So far 2 arrests have been made, and the Condoms have been kept as evidence.
