Scott Reed, 30years electrician and his wife Laura could not conceive because for years he had been placing his laptop on his lap to work, when the doctor told him to quit the bad habit, three months later Mrs Reed became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl, taryn.

According to their story,Scott thought his infertility was as a result of mumps which he suffered 21yrs ago. They tried so hard for six months to have a baby, when this failed the wife  decided to seek for  doctor’s opinion,Scott was put on fertility test.

Mrs Reed, a pathologist, said: 'About six months after we started trying I was getting frustrated and mentioned it to my doctor. Tests revealed Mr Reed was producing a healthy amount of sperm but they had suffered heat damage.

Under the microscope it was possible to see that the tail of the sperm had coiled around the head, meaning it couldn't swim quickly to the egg.

The problem is common in chefs - who work in hot environments - but can also be caused by laptop computers.

From that very moment, Scot took heed to his doctor’s advice,he places his laptop beside him or on a table. Three months after this practice,Mrs Reed became pregnant.
Today, their daughter is 10months,she was born on the 8thof December,2011.
