Davido Receives a slap

You guys have to pardon me…………hahahaha! Really Davido!

Anyways, according to the story the reason why he got a slap; Davido said to uniformed men "don't you know me, what the fuck is wrong with you guys..." This act infuriated one of the Mopol and while the musician was still ranting and boasting, he was landed dirty slaps and was threatened with gun to shut up if he does not want to be bathed in his blood.

Reports say that fast-rising music star and MTN Pulse Ambassador, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido recently bagged dirty slaps from Mobile Policemen at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, while he was there for a show, when was invited for the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show alongside other prominent acts, by a fast rising music producer cum manager popularly called Nosa.

The show ended and according to the source, Davido who was said to be drunk to stupor and insisted on leaving in a friend’s car instead of going in the one that brought him, and other top artistes, crew from the hotel. Nosa being his host had to drive behind them. Bubble later burst when the car conveying Davido was stopped by some uniformed men for the routine check especially at that time of the night.

Eyewitness account revealed that the obviously tipsy Davido jumped out of the car and started boasting "don't you know me, what the fuck is wrong with you guys..." He started shouting about who he is and what guts the Mopol men had to stop his friend`s car.

This act infuriated one of the Mopol and while the musician was still ranting and boasting, he was landed dirty slaps and was threatened with gun to shut up if he does not want to be bathed in his blood. The musician we were further told was immediately rushed back into the car by Nosa and his friend who had at that point got down from their bus and pleaded with the uniformed men that he’s actually a popular musician, especially in Lagos and came for a show in Abuja.

Reports gathered revealed that when Davido was taken back to the hotel where he was lodged, he immediately transferred the aggression on Nosa who got him the Nokia performance deal, telling him to shut up and not talk when he’s talking else he would slap him the way he was treated by the Mobile Policemen.

Nosa is currently a stakeholder in Limelite Records and gathered information revealed that he might have been in the entertainment industry before young Davido was born.

“We were trying to take pictures and the media paparazzi were also taking pictures. We were to take just two shots but they were still taking a lot of pictures and I was really shy so I tried to leave and Essien was just trying to cover my face that’s all.”

Oooh! ok Nadia if you say so................here was the party she was talking about.

“Stephanie Dumped Rev. Okotie Because He Can't Impregnate Her!” Says a member of the church

Could this be true? Personally I think this the right time for every member of the church to pray for Rev Okotie and Stephanie not dwell on the reason why the two had to go their separate ways to avoid members going astray.

A very close source who claims to know Rev. Okotie well alleged that Okotie's marital problems stems from his presumed inability to father a child.

“It's very difficult to push to the public, but the reasons Okotie's marriages are not working is because of childlessness. It's a private thing, and he is battling the problem. Tina was with him for about 17 years without a child to show for the marriage.

That was why Tina had to relocate to America, and remarried. I even heard she has a child now,” our source disclosed. But we pointed out to our source that so far as Stephanie already had three children, she couldn't have agreed that the marriage to Okotie breaks up.

“A woman generally does not feel secure if she doesn't have a child for her husband, and especially if the man is seen or suspected of keeping other women. That is the issue with Okotie and Stephanie. I don't want to say more than this. Please.” The source stated. But another source who is a member of the Household of God Church said the above insinuation is wrong.

“It is a rubbish talk. The person that said so should not let the wrath of God be visited on him or her. Is the person God? It's only Rev. okotie and Stephanie that know the reasons they got separated, and we are praying for them.

It is wrong to say Rev. Okotie can't father a child.” The source said.

Eto’o Risks Five Years in Jail over Alleged Tax Evasion

The Cameroun striker signed for Anzhi Makhachkala, a club from the volatile North Caucasus region and owned by Russian billionaire, Suleiman Kerimov, last August, in a record-breaking move that made him the richest player in the world on an annual salary of 20 million euros, has accused Cameroun’s striker Samuel Eto’o of conspiring to evade 3.5 million euros ($4.4 million) in taxes owed on income from his image rights when he was playing for Barcelona between 2006 and 2009.

The Barca and Inter Milan former player, now with Russian Premier League club, Anzhi Makhachkala, is accused of four tax offences, each punishable with up to five years in prison and a fine of as much as 21 million Euros.

The case presented by the prosecutor on June 15 at a Barcelona court, and which was seen by Reuters yesterday, asked a judge to open proceedings against the player before the statute of limitations on one of the alleged offences expires tomorrow.

Spain recently launched a drive against tax evasion as it struggles to meet tough European deficit reduction targets that have meant budget cuts for hospitals and schools. Eto’o allegedly created two companies, one in Hungary and another in Spain, and used them to channel income obtained from ceding his image rights to Barca and sportswear maker, Puma, the prosecutor said.

The Hungarian company paid one of the lowest corporate tax rates in Europe – 10 per cent to 19 per cent – while the Spanish company paid a reduced corporate tax rate of 30 per cent to 35 per cent, instead of the 45 per cent income tax rate, the charge said. Eto’o also allegedly used the Spanish company to deduct personal expenses, such as payments for his mortgages, furniture and expenses related to his luxury cars, the complaint added. Eto’o and his club could not immediately be reached for comment.

The prosecutor also accused Eto’o’s former agent, Jose Maria Mesalles, and the manager of the Spanish company, Manuel de Jesus Lastre, of the same tax offences. Eto’o filed a lawsuit against Mesalles at a Barcelona court last year, accusing him of betraying his trust and of embezzling money, local media said.
