While having tea as a source of refreshment, we can’t over emphasize the importance of it.

Generally tea carries anti-cancer properties of polyphenols which helps to fight cancer. There is very less risk of heart disease as it prevents blood from clotting and helps to decrease cholesterol levels. And it also helps in shielding you from some of the most deadly diseases mankind has ever known. Some researches shows that having the 2 cups of tea every day can reduce your risk of developing ovarian cancer by 50% and also useful to exploit your body defenses to fight diseases like cancer and heart disease. Black tea protects you against cancers.

Having tea in contrast to coffee is better because coffee have the more caffeine, which is not good for our health. One who adds milk to their tea helps in developing strong bones as milk has calcium, which is good for the bones. Tea has the fluoride and tannins that drive the plaque away. It helps in keeping your dental records white and shiny, of course including your usual dental regime that would involve brushing and flossing. Even though there has been research that caffeinated fluids dehydrates your body, which includes tea. But it has now been seen that caffeine doesn’t scorch you entirely, unless you happen to drink five to six cups at one time. So better to have the little tea can help you remain hydrated. Having ginger tea may help you get relief from sore throat. Having herbal tea can be very good to get rid of the early cold attack. Teas like enchinacea, peppermint and chamomile would do wonders against the cold if you combine all these together to make a brewing hot cup of tea. If taken 2 to 4 times a day, it may just do the trick. It also helps in reducing your bad cholesterol.

Hollywood Walk of Fame shocker---------- "Price of Fame in Hollywood? $15000".

The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others.

According to a 2003 report by the market research firm NPO Plog Research, the Walk attracts about 10 million visitors annually –it has played an important role in making tourism the largest industry in Los Angeles County.

An average of twenty new stars are added to the Walk each year

Amazingly enough, stars aren't just handed out on merit. A $15,000 fee must be paid to the Hollywood Historic Trust to get a star on the Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Historic Trust, which maintains the Walk, uses the money for security at the star ceremony, among other costs. Typically, this fee comes from a sponsor, whether it is a record company or movie studio. In some cases, a celebrity's fan club may pay the money.

The Walk of Fame Committee receives several hundred applications each year. Those celebrities who don't make the cut are rolled over to the next year for a second review. If the star is not approved in the second year, the nomination must be resubmitted. The committee looks for the following:

  • Professional achievement
  • Five years or more in the entertainment industry
  • Community contributions
