3,000 people lost their homes in the inferno at Ebute Meta

There was nothing left at the plank village in Ebute Meta as fire raged through the night leaving thousands of people homeless and Alafin's palace lost 21 rooms to another inferno in Oyo town.

Meanwhile in Apapa, an oil barge located on Tin can Island exploded in the early hours of Wednesday, leaving four people injured.
