Despite the fact that he was wearing a gas mask,has been
identified as the the gunman who set off an explosive device and then
fired into a crowded movie theater near the Aurora Mall, killing 12 people and
injuring at least 53 others during a midnight opening of the latest Batman
movie "The Dark Knight Rises."
He happened to be 24 years old, a Neuroscience PHD
candidate at the University Colorado without a criminal record prior to this.
He was in the process of withdrawing from the school before the shooting.
Hours after the tragic Colorado shooting happened, politics in America
has been put on hold.
