Is courtship a determinant factor to a successful marriage?

I woke up this morning with the news on radio that a Nigerian couple courted for 15yrs & got divorced 3yrs after with 2kids from the marriage. This got me asking...does courtship determine the success of marriage?how long does one have to court b4 getting married? because the essence of courting is to know each other so they can live happily ever after, some say 3mths,others 6mths,....what's ur tot?

I dont think they courted for 15yrs, i guess they included when they started dating bc couting starts when the guy has given the lady the ring on her finger, also in a marraige the determinant factor is tolerance.

its a pity they were both pretending for that long, im a engaged for 6mths and we vowed to be open no matter how bad the situation is, and prayer is the no 1 key, that God should open my eyes in this r/ship if its not meant to be God shld scatter it b4 it gets too far with him

Men u cant trust them.In a marriage its the man that makes it work, except the woman is pardon me for using this word"BITCH" if a man loves his woman there's no way the woman will not stay in the marriage to make it work,we women need love and attention
